I haven't done the best job at posting on this blog lately, but am really going to be working on doing lots of travel posts, updating info on my website, & lots of tips on how to spend less traveling so that you can travel more often!
Here is a little bit about me if you are new to my site & blog! I am 30 years old & have married to my husband, Nate, for 4 years now. I grew up in Arizona & then lived in Hawaii for 8 years. Then I moved to San Diego where I met Nate my first month there. We fell in love & got married a year later! I love surfing, traveling, & eating good food!!! I also love spending time with my husband & four sisters!! Traveling is one of my favorite things to do & I spend hours a day just planning possible trips to go on. For the past few years, my husband & I have gone on a big trip almost every summer. I plan each trip & make sure we can stay the longest time possible while not spending tons of money! I will be sharing the budgets and itineraries for these in the next few weeks. Here are some of our past trips: 2012: honeymoon in Cabo! 2013: Belize & Guatemala 2014: France, Italy, Germany, & Austria 2015: Bali, Indonesia Last summer we didn't go on a trip because my husband switched jobs & we have also been dealing with infertility/ trying to get pregnant the past 3 years & spent that summer doing treatments (sadly they were all unsuccessful). This year we were stuck between doing a big trip or not because the fertility treatments cost so much. We decided we are still going to go on a trip because we really need something to look forward to!! When I am planning trips, I usually have a few places in mind & make itineraries, budgets, & slideshows for each to try & convince my husband, Nate. This year I had trips to Iceland, Spain, France, & Switzerland picked out & my husband chose France & Switzerland. Our budget was $2,000-$3,000 total including flights, places to stay, rental car, & food. I will be sharing our budget & itinerary later on. We will be going to Paris, France, Annecy, France, & Switzerland. We have been wanting to go to Switzerland for a long time, but I know that it is really expensive there, so we decided to do 6 days in France & 3 days in Switzerland! If anyone is planning a trip or would like to plan a trip & has any questions or would like any help, please fill out the contact form on my sunshine & seafoam website & I would love to help! I will post again soon!!!
